Lens Replacement for California

Coast to coast, one mailer at a time: new lenses for the frames you already own.

If you're in California, you're on Pacific Time and our lab is in Florida. Here's how that works, and how to get your questions answered before you order.

Talk to an expert first

Not sure which lenses to choose? Book a 15 minute phone call. Choose a time and we'll call you.

Our lab is on Eastern Time, which is three hours ahead of California, according to the U.S. Naval Observatory. The scheduler lets you pick your own time zone, so you can choose a time that works for you.

The long way around, made easy

Your frames go from California to Hialeah, Florida, and back again. We send the mailer, you pack it once, and we ship your finished glasses home with tracking.

Standard shipping covers the mailer and the return trip. You can have the mailer picked up at your door where that's available, or drop it off with the carrier shown on your label.

Rush it, or don't

Expect 5 to 7 business days of lab work after your frames land. Shipping adds days in each direction. The cost is already in your price.

If you can't wait, expedited lab processing is $24.95 for the whole order, however many pairs are in it. That means 3 to 4 business days in the lab. With no spare pair at home, a rush can be worth it.

Made to be seen

The Golden Gate Bridge opened to traffic on May 28, 1937. The National Park Service says its International Orange color was chosen to suit the bridge's surroundings and to make it more visible in fog.

Seeing clearly is the point of your glasses too. Standard anti-reflective coating is part of the price.

Progressives, bifocals and everything else

Progressive or bifocal? That's $149, all in. Single vision or non-prescription? That's $99, all in.

Each includes the mailer, the return trip and one free remake in the first 30 days. The lenses are polycarbonate with standard anti-reflective coating, and the premium coating is a $45 upgrade.

Questions about ordering from California

Do you have a location in California?

No. We're online only, and the lab is in Hialeah, Florida, at 2127 W 76th St, Hialeah, FL 33016.

What does a phone call with your team cover?

It's a quick 15 minute call about lens options or your frames. You choose the time, and we call you.

How do I give you my prescription?

In the builder, you upload a photo or PDF of your prescription or enter the details manually. Our lab reviews your frame photos before production.

Is the rush fee charged for each pair?

No. It's one $24.95 charge for the whole order, whatever the number of pairs.

What if I need a prescription change after I get my glasses?

Reach out within 30 days of delivery, and do it before you return the glasses. We review the order, recheck the prescription if needed, and one approved remake is free.
